CAAA – Centro para os Assuntos da Arte e Arquitectura presents Investigating the Question and the Object_Noémia Coutinho and “A School of Initiation in Art”, an exhibition by Fernanda Fragateiro.

The exhibition offers an opportunity to study and recreate the singularity of the work of architect Noémia Coutinho (1937–2017) through the gaze, thought, and artistic practice of Fernanda Fragateiro. The social, political, and aesthetic attention that characterizes Fragateiro’s work makes this project a dual and complementary opportunity: it expands her artistic field by associating it with a singular example of Portuguese modernist architecture, while also bringing national and international visibility to an architect who remains largely unknown.
