Rui Chafes & Alberto Giacometti | 'A Mão no Vazio' by Federico Nicolao in ELECTRA #4

The Magazine ELECTRA recalls the exhibition GRIS, VIDE, CRIS in which works by Rui Chafes dialogued with works by Alberto Giacometti. This mention is made through A mão no vazio - an article written by the writer, curator and philosopher Federico Nicolao versed in the Work of Alberto Giacometti.

 

The exhibition was curated by Helena de Freitas whose project developed "as a research on the artists' common lexicon, timelessness, dematerialization and emptiness". It took place at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Delegation in Paris, with the support of the Alberto and Annette Giacometti Foundation, between October 3 and December 13, 2018.
